Jessica Nuzzi, LMHC-D | Anxiety & Eating Disorder Therapist in Long Island, NY
Hi There! I’m Jessica Nuzzi, Licensed Psychotherapist and founder of Embodied Path Psychotherapy. Embodied Path currently serves clients virtually throughout Nassau County, Suffolk County, and all of New York State.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults who struggle with various types of mental health issues and are looking for a space to feel heard, validated, and seen.
I specialize in treatment for teens and adults navigating anxiety disorders, eating disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma. These disorders are often exacerbated by perfectionism, lacking assertiveness and having people-pleasing tendencies. Many of my clients also present with ADHD, OCD, and relationship issues.
I do not believe there should be a “cookie-cutter” approach to therapy. Instead, I utilize an eclectic method that incorporates a range of evidence-based modalities, including somatic therapy, EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs.
I approach our sessions from both clinical expertise and the personal experience of having navigated the challenges of anxiety, perfectionism and recovery from an eating disorder. This deeply informs my ability to both treat and resonate with clients through compassion, empathy and deep care.
Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel supported, and explore meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and sustainable to you. You don’t have to perform or have the answers.
Fun Facts: When I’m not sitting in the therapist chair, you can find me walking my dog with my husband, hiking, or practicing yoga.

Sherine Sedigh, LMHC | Trauma & Chronic Health Therapist in Long Island, NY
Welcome! I'm Sherine Sedigh, a Licensed Psychotherapist in New York State. I am passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and compassionate space where clients feel safe, seen, and understood.
I have experience working with teens, adults, and older adults who are looking to better understand how their past experiences influence their present-day relationships, emotions, and patterns. Together, we'll work toward creating a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and manageable while building greater self awareness, resilience, and self-compassion.
I specialize in supporting teens, adults, and older adults navigating medical and physical health conditions, chronic pain, and childhood trauma. I understand that living with medical challenges can have a profound impact on emotional well-being, relationships, and daily life.
In addition to working with these concerns, I also support clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, and neurodivergence. I understand that struggling with emotional challenges or feeling different from others can also impact your sense of self, relationships, and overall well-being. My goal is to create a compassionate space where every part of your experience is welcomed, respected, and understood.
Every client has a unique story, so I tailor treatment using a variety of evidence-based and holistic approaches to meet your individual needs. My work incorporates EMDR, ACT, CBT, DBT, somatic interventions, and EFT tapping to support healing in a way that is meaningful and personalized to you.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process, and I strive to create a space where you feel heard, accepted, and supported. Therapy with me is a place where you can show up exactly as you are. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. Whether you're processing the past, navigating present challenges, or working toward future goals, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.
Fun Facts: Outside of the therapy room, you can find me planning my next travel adventure, getting lost in a good book, or catching up on reality TV.
